The City of Hollywood, Florida , is located in the southeast quadrant of Broward County with bordering towns of Davie, Cooper City, Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Miramar and Hallandale Beach. It boasts about 5 miles of Atlantic Ocean Beach.

Hollywood Beach offers a promenade called the Broadwalk which is designed for the jogger, biker stroller and walker to share a paved walkway lined with eateries and cafes, beachwear shops, hotels and places for just sitting and enjoying the Atlantic Ocean. It is easy to spend a day at this beach with everything you need within walking distance.
Memorial Regional Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Florida and is a major employer in Hollywood. The hospital serves the entire Broward County area with several satellite hospitals and clinics and the renowned Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Not many cities in this day and time have a railroad station but Hollywood has an Amtrak station that takes you to the northeast or south to Miami. Use of the train depot began in 1928 and has continued to service Florida residents and visitors over the years. Tri-Rail is also part of the depot and provides service for work transportation between Palm Beach and Miami.
